Take For Chicken Marination
Prepare Half kg Chicken -

Prepare 3 Tbsp Yogurt -
Prepare For Making Gravy
Take 1/2 Cup Oil -
Take 3-4 Tbsp Butter -
Prepare 3 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste -
Make ready 2 Tsp Coriander Powder -
Make ready 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder -
Prepare 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder -
Make ready 1 Tsp Cumin Powder -
Make ready Salt - Add To Taste
Get 1/2 Kg Tomatoes -
Prepare Orange food color (optional)
Take 200 Grams Onion -
Get For Final Garnish
Take 3 Tbsp Butter -
Make ready 1/2 Cup Cream -
Take 2 Tbsp Fresh Coriander -
Prepare 1 Tbsp Fenugreek Leaves Powder -
Instructions to make Butter Chicken (Restaurant style):
Marination process: Cut chicken into thin slices and add red chili powder, salt as per your taste, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, oil and yogurt. Mix all these spices into chicken and marinate for 30 to 60 minutes.
To make gravy: Add oil and butter into pan, once heat up, add ginger garlic paste and sliced onions. Once the onion is golden brown add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt as per your taste and tomatoes and cook well. Once all ingredients are fully cooked, pour them into blender and make a smooth paste to prepare gravy.
Roast the marinated chicken in pan (oil not needed). once roasted, shred them into bite size pieces.
Add roasted chicken pieces into gravy and further add butter and cream into gravy and cook well for 5 minutes.
For final garnish: add fresh coriander and fenugreek leaves into gravy and cook for 5 to 10 minutes before serving. - You can also check out below link for recipe.
