In a small bowl, combine the picante sauce, brown sugar and mustard; pour over chicken. Open jar of picante sauce and put into a large saucepan. Add chicken breasts to picante sauce and bring to a steady boil. Pour the picante sauce over the chicken.

Steps to make Picante Chicken:
  1. Rinse and pat dry your chicken thighs…..
  2. Place thighs in a large baking pan…..
  3. Sprinkle over chicken the minced garlic, black pepper, basil leaves and crushed red pepper……..
  4. Bake, uncovered in a 400 degree oven for 1 hour…….
  5. After the chicken has cooked for the full hour, pour salsa over chicken……..
  6. Bake in oven for 25 minutes more……
  7. Serve with white rice or yellow rice and enjoy šŸ˜‰!!

Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Remove chicken from marinade and saute in hot oil until well browned on both sides. Add remaining marinade and let simmer until chicken is glazed and tender and juices run clear. Add the wine and reduce to about half. Use a wooden spoon and scrape the bottom of pan to loosen the brown bits.
