Hello everybody, I hope you’re having an amazing day today. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, pinakbet. One of my favorites food recipes. This time, I am going to make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Pinakbet is one of the most popular of recent trending meals on earth. It is easy, it is quick, it tastes delicious. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. Pinakbet is something which I have loved my entire life. They are fine and they look fantastic.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have pinakbet using 9 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Pinakbet:
  1. Get 4-5 garlic cloves; roughly chopped
  2. Get Half an onion; cut into wedges
  3. Prepare 1 tomato; chopped
  4. Make ready 1/3 rd kabocha squash; chopped into 1” cubes
  5. Make ready 1/2 lb pork
  6. Take 4 tbsp shrimp paste (Bagoong)
  7. Get 10 okra
  8. Get 1 handful green beans; cut into 2” pieces
  9. Make ready Chicken broth
Instructions to make Pinakbet:
  1. Prep your ingredients. Have them ready, at hand.
  2. Sauté the onions first. Then garlic.
  3. Then add your tomato. You don’t have to wait too long for these to cook.
  4. Now you can add your pork. I used ground pork but you can use whatever you got. Cook until no longer pink.
  5. Add in the shrimp paste. Note: traditionally, this recipe calls for Bagoong - purple shrimp paste. I used Thai shrimp paste bc that’s what I had.
  6. Add in your kabocha squash and cook for about 2 mins. I added 1/2 cup of chicken broth.
  7. Then your okra.
  8. Then your green beans.
  9. Top with salt & pepper, and voila! Enjoy :)
