Get 250 g minced lamb / beef or combination of both
Take 2 potatoes
Take 1 bag spinach

Make ready 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste (or 2 garlic cloves and a bit of ginger blitzed)

Take 2 whole cloves
Take 1 bay leaf
Prepare 1 tsp turmeric
Prepare 1 tsp curry powder
Prepare 0.5 tsp chilli powder
Make ready 1 tsp garam masala
Take Salt to taste
Prepare Some oil to fry
Take Chopped coriander to serve
Steps to make Rishna's Kheema:
Heat some oil in pad with a lid and fry the dry ingredients (cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaf) for 1 minute
Add the chopped onion and stir for 30 seconds
Add the ginger, garlic and green chilli and sauté on a low heat until the onions start to soften
Add the chilli powder, curry powder, turmeric, garam masala and a generous pinch of salt and sauté for a few more minutes
Add the meat and stir for 2 minutes
Dice the potatoes and add to the pan
Add the tomatoes, tomato puree and enough water to just cover the meat
Cover and cook on a low heat for 15 to 20 minutes
Add the spinach and stir through until wilted
Check the meat is cooked and add salt if required. If there's still excess water, uncover and the boil water off
